The CALVORAE Windshield Repair Kit is designed for certain small, contained chips such as minor bullseye, star-shaped, and surface-impact damage on laminated automotive windshields. Results depend on the size, depth, age, and location of the damage.

Do not use the kit on shattered glass, long or spreading cracks, edge damage, deep damage through multiple glass layers, or damage in a safety-critical area. Damage in the driver’s direct line of sight should be inspected by a professional auto-glass technician.

The resin is intended to fill and seal minor damage and may reduce its visibility. It may not make every chip completely invisible. Older, contaminated, deep, or complex damage can remain noticeable after treatment.

Use the kit as soon as practical while the chip is still small, clean, dry, and contained. Waiting can allow moisture, dirt, temperature changes, and road vibration to affect the damaged area.

Park in a dry, shaded area and make sure the glass is cool, clean, and completely dry. Remove loose glass and surface debris carefully, but do not press hard or enlarge the damaged area. Follow the product instructions before application.

Curing time varies with sunlight or UV intensity, temperature, and the amount of resin used. Keep the curing film in place and follow the included instructions. Do not drive or expose the repaired area to water until the resin has cured properly.

For best results, apply it to clean, dry glass in moderate conditions. Avoid rain, moisture, freezing temperatures, very hot glass, and strong direct heat during application. Move the vehicle to a suitable area before starting.

It is intended primarily for laminated automotive windshields. Many side and rear windows use tempered glass, which behaves differently and is generally not suitable for this type of repair. Confirm the glass type before use.
